Social Media and Content Intern

JOB SUMMARY

As a Social Media and Content Intern, you will play an instrumental role in enhancing the brand’s media presence and online visibility. You will manage press relations, create engaging content, secure valuable backlinks, and assist with multimedia editing to support marketing campaigns. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop essential skills in public relations, content marketing, and digital media production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets.
• Manage media coverage and cultivate relationships with journalists and media partners.
• Secure high-quality backlinks through targeted outreach and strategic partnerships.
• Design social media and digital graphics to support brand initiatives.
• Edit and produce videos for marketing campaigns and content strategies.
• Contribute to overall content creation efforts to strengthen the brand's online presence.
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Passion for media relations, content marketing, and digital storytelling.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with backlink strategies and SEO basics is a plus.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and basic video editing software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Ability to work independently and within a remote setting.
• Must have excellent Internet connection, technology tools for remote work, and ability to adjust work hours to Central Standard Time (Between 9 am - 5 pm Central Standard Time).
