About the role
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic candidates for our Sales and Marketing Officer positions. They will be responsible for the business development, sales growth, and brand building of RGIT’s educational offerings. The role’s core function includes managing relationships with agents, researching and developing business development opportunities, and sales growth through marketing opportunities and plans. This role is focused on promotion and growth of student numbers for RGIT’s VET and ELICOS courses.
Job tasks and responsibilities
• Manage inbound and outbound phone and web-based enquiries
• Priorities and/or escalate lead and customer questions as needed
• Work on key sales campaigns to drive new enrolments
• Track all appointments, sales, status reports (etc.) thoroughly
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships in the effort to extend customer lifetime value
• Provide student entry requirements advice and assist in the assessment of student entry requirements satisfaction
• Maintain accurate data in the student databases i.e. CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and SMS (Student Management System)
• Drive recruitment, admission, and support for students
• Work towards meeting sales targets and budgets
• Perform research activities and report accordingly for satisfactory operations
Skills and experience the desired candidates will have:
• Bachelor’s or above level qualification in field relating marketing
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in general sales and marketing and/or 1 year in international marketing, in a College or University.
• Understanding of admissions issues, market trends, domestic market recruitment guidelines and how to promote tertiary education
• Knowledge of international student recruitment markets, particularly their allocated market, is preferred
• Ability to communicate in the common language of the target market.
• Fluent, efficient and effective communication skills (advanced level of written and verbal skills)
• Experience with CRM and SMS platforms is preferred.
• Extensive skill and knowledge with Microsoft Office programs
• Advanced ability to multitask and priorities multiple responsibilities
• Excellent in digital, social media marketing
• The candidate must be skilled in implementing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels
