ABOUT THE ROLE

Associations International is seeking a highly engaged and collaborative teammate to join the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Marketing and Communications team for a summer internship!


As the Website & Marketing Intern, you’ll support the team with a variety of cross-functional marketing and digital tasks—including (but not limited to) website maintenance, content redevelopment, analytics reporting, and more. This is a hands-on opportunity to explore the intersection of website governance, SEO, UX best practices, social media, paid digital campaigns, and email marketing.


In this role, you’ll report to the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing & UX and work closely with a dynamic and supportive team that’s eager to share knowledge and help you grow. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and excited to build real-world marketing experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in maintaining ICF’s website through regular updates
  • Assist in creating and optimizing website content including blog posts, product descriptions, web pages, social media, email, etc. 
  • Help with the development and implementation of marketing strategies and digital campaigns
  • Support marketing efforts through work in administrative tasks
  • Collaborate across the organization with other marketing professionals to best understand the organizational needs and how to effectively market for a client association
  • Attend meetings as requested by leadership
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing website performance metrics and key insights for review by the team. 
  • Assist with organization and management of documents and images for large scale content updates
  • Shadow roles across the team to learn about how the MarComm team supports ICF
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

  • Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to take ownership of assignments, thinking critically and creatively
  • Knowledge or familiarity with WordPress
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, Semrush etc. preferred 
  • Familiar with SEO best practices
  • Willingness to learn quickly, ask questions, and work in a fast-paced environment
