Responsibilities
Existing Marketing Management Business – New Zealand:
- Support the existing marketing management business with coordination and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate email campaigns in MailChimp.
- Manage customer database lists, including tagging and segmenting.
- Provide administrative support to the Owner/Marketing Director across multiple client accounts as needed.
- Format documents for brand consistency and professional presentation.
- Update WordPress CMS sites with new content and pages.
- Improve website, social media, and digital channels.
- Proofread new resources before publication.
- Create briefs for the graphic designer.
New Business Setup – Global Online E-Commerce Platform:
- Research new tech solutions and market opportunities for targeting the American professional services sector.
- Manage the setup and implementation of marketing tools (CRM, email marketing systems).
- Coordinate e-commerce website development, working with developers and content creators.
- Create and manage content for various marketing channels (social media, email campaigns).
- Identify and recommend solutions for marketing challenges proactively.
- Set up and manage the customer waitlist and email nurture sequences.
- Assist in branding efforts and ensure consistent application across all materials.
- Perform marketing administrative tasks and support project management for the new business launch.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with e-commerce exposure.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, email marketing platforms (expert-level MailChimp preferred), and content management systems.
- Confidence in using AI for research and content creation, with strong fact-checking skills.
- Experience working within WordPress.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
- Experience working with or knowledge of the American market.
- Excellent project management and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail in formatting, brand consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting.
