Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Content Editor to join our marketing team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language and expertise in editing, proofreading, and refining marketing collateral, website content, and digital assets. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our content is clear, engaging, grammatically correct, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit marketing materials, website content, social media posts, email campaigns, brochures, and other written communication.
  • Ensure content is error-free, grammatically sound, and aligned with the company’s tone and voice.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to enhance messaging and storytelling.
  • Maintain consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging across all communication channels.
  • Optimize content for readability, engagement, and SEO best practices.
  • Proofread and fact-check materials to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to content creators for improvements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, content strategies, and digital marketing best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in content editing, copywriting, or proofreading, preferably in a marketing or digital media environment.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and digital content strategies is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), Microsoft Office, and editing tools like Grammarly, Hemingway, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with international brands or global teams.
  • Basic knowledge of design and layout principles for marketing materials.
  • Understanding of UX writing and website content structuring.
